A prayer to God (just in case I'm too tired after this):

Dearest Abba Father,
Please forgive my sins, in Jesus' name. Every day we go about sinning unconsciously and consciously. And when we come to you asking for the blood of the lamb to cover us, let us remember that all was bought and paid for once off at the Calvary 2009 years ago, and that price didn't come cheap.

Dear Father, I know I have outstanding issues with you in my life. They are just like the A/P and A/R accounts where they don't go away until the right time comes. So before those days come, I pray that You will continue to shower your care and protection upon me, and upon all my friends who believe in Your power. And for those You have yet to believe, I have faith that time is in Your hands, and plans are in Your hands.

Today oh God, I was talking to my aunt. I don't usually talk to my relatives, but she and uncle came to talk to us. I appreciate the care and concern relatives have for us, because humans could always do with a little more love and compassion. But moments after we talked Lord, she got cursed and sworn at. And I pray oh Lord, that those unkind words will depart from the minds of those who have said it and those who have heard it.

You know, I always had this thought of "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth", but I know that's the worldly saying and not Your saying. Your word says when someone slaps you on the right cheek, turn and let him slap the left as well. When Peter asked you "how many times do we have to forgive a person, seven times?" You replied "not seven times, but seventy times seven times". That number was figurative, it meant infinity. So whenever I want to retaliate nastily, Father remind me what it takes for me to take up the cross and follow You.

You promised to be there all the time. So even when I have tonnes of projects undone, readings unread, friendships unmaintained, problems unsorted, I still know You are God. You are the strength when we are weak.

By the way God, You better settle those things for me soon. Lols just kidding.
